Carbon Cycle the process that moves carbon between plants, animals, and microbes; minerals in the earth; and the atmosphere
Carbon Dioxide Colorless and non-flammable gas at normal temperature and pressure. Produced from breathing and from burning certain substances called fossil fuels
Biosphere the region of the earth that encompasses all living organisms: plants, animals and bacteria
