What is the function of the eyelids and lacrimal fluid? Protect the cornea and eyeball from injury and irritation
What structures pass through the optic canal? Optic nerve (CN II) and the ophthalmic arteries
What structures pass through the superior orbital fissure? Ophthalmic veins, ophthalmic nerve (CNV1), CNIII, CNIV and CNVI and sympathetic fibres
