Describe expectant management in relation to a miscarriage and what factors need to be considered Expectant management is a wait and see approach where the woman waits to pass products naturally. - There is increased blood loss - incomplete miscarriage should be watched for risk of infection or heavy bleeding - women should be hemodynamically stable - it may assist in grief and emotional connection - reduced chance of infection/complications
