Explanation: Set the problem in the long division format. Put 60 inside the "dog house" and 2 outside. Start multiplying. - 2FactorizationProblem: 48
Explanation: You make to branches coming from 48 that lead to two factors that will multiply to 48. If you use 6 and 8, then you have to create branches out of those two numbers that simplify 6 and 8, till you reach the smallest values. The left over numbers are your factors.
- 3Greatest Common FactorProblem: 25 and 55
Explanation: Set the numbers and make a list for each one with the numbers that will evenly go into each one. When there is no more numbers pick out the greatest common number that they both can be divided by evenly. That number will be you GCF!!
