Question Answer
How do you find the mass of one mole of a compound? Add up all the relative atomic masses of the elements of the compound
What is Avogadro's Law? The same volume of gas contains the same number of particles. It does not matter what gas you have, they all contain the same number of particles provided that they are at the same temperature and pressure.
What does one mole of a gas at room temperature and pressure equal? 24,000 cm3 or 24dm3
How do you create a chemical or symbol equation? First write down the word equation. Then write down the symbols and formulae. After, balance the equation.
How can the number of moles of a gas be calculated? Number of moles of a gas = Volume of gas/Volume of a mole
How can moles be measured in a solution? Number of moles = Volume of solution (cm3) x mol/dm3/1000
What is a mole? The number of atoms in exactly 12 grams of 12C (carbon twelve).
