What is the function of the cytoplasm? It is the site of the chemical reactions essential for life.
What is the function of the cell membrane? It controls the passage of substances into and out of the cell.
What is the function of the chloroplasts? Photosynthesis
What is the function of the vacuole? It stores water and solutes as cell sap and regulates water content by osmosis.
What is the function of the cell wall? It supports the cells structure.
What is the function of the mitochondrion? Mitochondria are responsible for aerobic respiration.
What is the function of the ribosome? It is responsible for protein synthesis.
