Edmodo Educational social network for teachers and students. Visually looks like Facebook with many of the same features.
Google Account Gives access to Docs, Youtube, Hangouts, Blogger etc. Does not have to be a @gmail.com email address. Any email can be made into a Google account.
Google Docs Collaborative documents online. Do not need a google account to access. Can give real time feedback to students. Like Microsoft WORD.
Blogger A blogging site. Can be made private but students need a Google Account to access. Students can upload their work and peer review.
Prezi Online presentation software. Basic version is free to use for students and teachers. Can access presentations anywhere.
Padlet Online noticeboard. Can be made private. Upload images, videos and posts. Students can download docs. Students can comment, create their own posts and upload their work..
Tiny URL Makes longwinded web addresses into small manageble ones.
Plickers Real time formative assessment through your mobile device (not theirs). Students hold up cards with images on them and the teacher takes a photo to assess their answer. Cards and app avaialble for free.
Real Time Board An interactive whiteboard that lets you collaborate in real time. Type, write and draw ideas. Post pictures and videos. Add stickers. Save and share.
Coggle Collaborative mindmapping website
Simple Mind Mindmapping app. Free version allows many maps but you can't save them. However, you can screencapture them. Great for portable vocabulary word families.
Powtoon Free online animation software.
