If a person has a degree in another subject how do they become a solicitor? By undertaking either the GDL - graduate diploma in law OR the CPE - common professional examination.
Whats the vocational training involved to become a solicitor? E.g what do you do give 4 examples. The legal practice course (LPC) this develops practical skills, such as client interviewing , negotiation, drafting documents, business management and advocacy.
How much does the LPC (legal practice course) cost? £12,000.
Whats the final stage of training to become a solicitor? Training contract for two years with a firm authorized by the SRA to take trainees.
