Question Answer
human population density is a factor en every envioromental problem effects of overpopulation depletion on natural resorces degradation of the envioronment conflicts and wars rise in unemployment high cost of living
plummeting across much of the so-called Third World. species are endangered becouse hunting and we have destroyes natural habits. the biodiversity of the planet is under threat.
POLLUTION It is a very pressing green issue. There is air pollution and a layer of smog hanging over big cities. There is also water pollution. In many parts of the world the quality of the water is bad becouse rivers had been polluted by all shorts of industrial waste, by chemicals and fertilisers. recycle our waste and find the proper way to handel what it is left . renewable resources
ENERGY Another extremly important green issue. The way we use energy is causing harm to the envioronment. Power station-..electricity we need make sure that we use energy in a sustainable way. There is a limit to the Earth`s natural resources. More renewable resouces such as wind or solar energy.
GLOBAL WARMING AND THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT The greates threat today is a combination of global warming and the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is a global envioromental problem that implies the cooperation among countries will be needed to reach an efficient solution to this problem.
Average global temperature has increased by almost 1 over the past century. Scientists expect it to increase and aditional 2 or 6 ºC over the next hundred years. This could change the Earth's climate as never before CLIMATE CHANGE Decreasing water availability and increasing drought in mid-latitudes Water stress
ECOSYSTEMS Many ecosystems depends on a delicate balance of rainfall, soil type and temperature. A rapid change in climate could upset this balance and seriously endenger many living things. coral bleaching and mortality rapid range shifts associate with the climate warming.
HOW TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING REUSABLE PRODUCTS INSTEAD OF DISPOSABLES BUYING PRODUCTS WITH MINIMAL PACKAGING ALUMINIUM CANS
USE LESS HEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING heat and cool your home weather stipping or caulking around doors Replace regular light bulbs wiht compact fluorescent light bulbs.
