As engineers, we need technical sheets with certain specifications about processes, designs, materials. So the instructional writing is very important for everyone to see the steps they must follow.

For example, to turn on a machine you need a manual where the steps are clearly identified on how to turn it on and work with it.

Having on record meetings is very important in order to make progress and tracking actions, as well as legal and mandatory obligations.

Meetings should have a minute to see and have further references of what happened in a meeting.

Everyday emails are send, transactional writing is also used to convey good and bad news.

Engineers almost every day sent emails to their peers, just to communicate activities or information.
