Parabola

1. Definition:

   • a conic section formed by the intersection of a cone by a plane parallel to its side.

2. Vertex of parabola:

   • The vertex of a parabola is the point where the parabola crosses its axis of symmetry.

3. parabola's axis of symmetry:

   • Every parabola has an axis of symmetry which is the line that runs down its 'center'. This line divides the graph into two perfect halves.
   • Equation: x=−b/2a

4. Equation of parabola:

   • y=ax2+bx+c
