1. Age

   • different needs
     • compentences
       • cognitives
         • Beliefs about age and language is that young learners learn faster and more affectively than any other age

2. Young Children

   • they respond to meaning even if they do not understanding individuals words
   • they find abstract concepts such as grammar rules difficult to graps
   • they often learn indirectly rather than directly
     • they have need of individual attention and aproval from the teacher

3. Adolescents

   • most of them understand the need for learning
     • Adolescents is bound up, after all with a pronounced search for identity and a need for self is bound up after all with a pronounced search for identity and self steam

4. Adult Learners

   • they have a long range of experince to draw on
     • they can engage with abtract thought
       • Adults tend on the whole to be more disciplened then others age group
   • they often have a clear undertsnding of why they are learning
