  1. The February Revolution
    1. The republic was proclaimed in 1917, it was headed by a provisional government
      1. The new government was dominated by the bourgeois parties, that made a series of political and social reforms
        1. They also wanted to remain committed to their allies in the war.
          1. This caused popular discontent, and the Sovietics began to demand the dimmisal of the government
            1. The forces that had united the tsar rule began to break up
    2. The October Revolution
      1. Most of Sovietics supported the Bolsheviks. Their leader was Lenin that published his news ideas in the April Theses.
        1. Lenin wanted to establish a government of worker and peasant Soviets and to sign a peace treaty with germany.
          1. The Bolsheviks created their own armed militia, The Red Guards
            1. On 25 october 1917 the rebels occupied Petrograd and the revolution quickly spread to Moscow and industrial regions.
              1. The Second All-Russian Congress of Sovietics proclaimed a workers government led by Lenin
                1. In November 1917, elections were won by the Bolshevicks and Lenin disolved the Assembly and put an end to political pluralism.
                  1. The new government decreed that the land was expropiated to distribute among the peasants and workers committes were given control of factories.
      2. Civil War and The Formation of USSR
        1. In 1918those who supported the return of tsarism or the maintenance of a liberal political system took up arms against the Soviet government.
          1. The White Army confronted with the Red Army
            1. The Civil War lasted three years and brought great misery to the people. In 1921, the Red Army won the war.
          2. The USSR is based on the Sovietics workers deputies, which developed as a result of overthrowing the power and the conquest of dictatorship
            1. The USSR is the socialist system of economy as a result of the abolition of the capitalism system.
