Base values
Tolerance
- Tolerance is defined as the quality that almost all the people have, it is designed as a fair treatment and attitude towards others, respecting, accepting and recognizing others opinions or ideals.
- "Tolerance is giving to any other human being every right you that claim for yourself" Robert Green Ingersoll

- Nowadays, tolerance is super important in every human being life, and it only needs one word to explain why: Dignity, not only ours but of the people that we are tolerating. We live in a society in which tolerance is the minimum thing we can make for each other, at least for living in good coexistence, as tolerance, means full respect, and acceptance to others without any prejudice. Moreover, this fundamental value contributes to the development of society, because it is, in a certain way, a form to be able to understand our fellow man, his problems, why he acts that way, why he feels that way or why he thinks that way, making us realize that tolerance is much more than a way to understand others and it is what makes our differences become our perfect imperfections
- This standard, like many, is known for not being applied in the lives of many people unfortunately. Every day, ethical problems are seen in those people who, nowadays believe that they are more powerful than others and that with the same, they take charge of creating an abuse of power, unleashing racism, inequality, and discrimination. At the same time, making others believe that they do not have the right to express what they want. Also, in people that cannot accept and stand what others do, just because they think that what they are doing is not right, generating fights and creating conflicts only for not accepting and remembering that we all are humans, and siblings.

Solidarity
- Solidarity can simply be explained as the role we take as humans. It is that type of feeling in terms of unity and good attitude towards others. It can be described as to give happiness, help, support, without the thought of having to receive something in return
- I believe that this value is attacked by problems in other values such as equality, because as was also seen in that one, the value is attacked by people who believe that they are superior and that in a certain way the "inferior", do not need any kind of equal treatment and even worse that they do not need help in any aspect of their lives. Beyond that, these problems unleash others like the fact that people become narcissistic and selfish, believing that only they matter and that the world turns around them, because they believe that everyone should see for them, but they should not see for anyone.
- "There is no stability without solidarity and no solidarity without stability"- Jose Manuel Barroso
- Like many of the values, solidarity is one that can generate great development in society and that without a doubt is one that when you are solidary with someone can make the day happier not only for the person you are helping but the our day. Solidarity is fundamental to recognize what we are and to let others know that there will always be support between human and human. It is one of the few ways that just by helping you can generate a giant positive impact on society.

- Support

Dialogue
- Dialogue is the value that makes us use the reason the most. This value consists in being able to express ourselves verbally, with a previous knowledge of what is going to be said and wanting other people to express themselves in a calm way. It can be described as the way we can use our intelligence to solve problems, make friends, or even do business.
- This value is mainly attacked by people that think that have always the reason and that think that they are right in all the things they say. This type of people unleash a bigger problem that are the fights, the verbal insults and the injustices. Yes, humans have the use of reason but it only works if we use it wisely. If we dont use the reason and dialogue, this two can be attacked also by violence and disrespect, leading the issue of conversations, fights and discrimination
- Synonyms
- Discussion
- Talk
- Negociation
- Chat
- "If you start a conversation with the assumption that you are right or that you must win, obviously it is difficult to talk." ~ Wendell Berry
- Dialogue is the basis of intelligence, both of which are crucial and irreplaceable in the lives of all human beings. Dialogue is what gives us the ability to show what we stand for in our day-to-day lives to all the people we meet. Sadly, today many people choose to fight and not understand the problems of others, creating even more confusion and the illusion that we humans have no use for reason.
Equality
- This value faces ethical problems of all types of inequality. IMainly in today's society we can see much in common an ethical problem, it is the lack of commitment as a human being, because people who discriminate and treat others unequally, lack and fail in the role of human being as it has been said, we are all humans and we must love equitatively and equally. Similarly, this ethical problem sets off several other ethical problems that attack the value, such as discrimination in all its expression.
- The equality of the human being is an irreplaceable standard in modern society, because it represents all the progress that humanity has made. Equality is crucial to relationships, not only as a couple but also as friends, because it allows us to see that there is truly a certain respect for others. In today's society, sadly, we continue to see people who do not understand the value of this ethical principle, because they do not believe that all people need equal treatment, because they do not have the same thing as them, and while we are not all equal, we all need equity at some point in our lives, to feel good with who we are.
- "Equality is the soul of liberty; there is, in fact, no liberty without it."-Frances Wright
- Equality is the equitative treatment, opportunities, rights, responsabilities that are given to a person regardless of gender, skin color, culture, nationality. There is no discrimination in this one.
