GOAL 10

1. Adopt policies, specially fisical, wage and social protection, and progressively achieve greater equality.

2. Reducing inequalities and ensuring no one is left behind are integral to achievieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

3. Calls for reducing inequalities in income as well as those based on sex, age, etc.- both within and amng countries.

4. Income inequality cannot be effectively tackled unless the underlying inequality of opportunities is adressed.

5. Inequalities are also deeping for vulnerable populations in countries with weaker health systems and those facing existing humanitarian crises

6. There is nothing inevitable about growing income inequality; several countries have managed to contain or reduce income inequality while achieving strong wroth performance.

7. Inequality within and among countries is a persistent cause of concern.
