1. CLASIFICATION

   • Primary colours
     • The fusion of these create the light white
       • Red, Blue & Green
   • Secondary colours
     • They are created by mixing two primary colors
     • Yellow = red + green
     • Magenta = red + blue
     • Cyan = green + blue
   • Complementary colours
     • created from mixing a primary color with a secondary

2. COLOUR PERCEPTION

   • absorbed colours dissapear on the object
   • the colours we see are the ones who were not absorbed
   • Colour
     • absorbed or reflected
       • depending of the surface of the object

3. COLOURED PIGMENTS

   • They absorb the light's energy
     • CYAN, MAGENTA , YELLOW
   • If you mix various primary colours you will have a drak grey
     • this is called subtractive blend
   • Complementary colors
     • Blended produce black

4. QUALITY OF COLOUR

   • Tone
     • The name given to a colour
   • Value
     • The amount of darkness or lightness of a colour
   • Saturation
     • Indicates the colour purity
       • Magenta - high saturation
       • Grey - low saturation
