1. Plan Quality Management

   • Project Planning
   • Define Quality Practices, standards for: Project / product
   • Plans how quality will be achieved - Processess and measures to meet standards
   • Balance quality needs with scope/cost/time/risk
   • Perform cost of quality / cost-benefit analysis
   • Create Process improvement plan and Quality Management Plan

2. Perform Quality Assurance

   • Executing
   • Work being done on the project
   • Ensure team complies with policies, processes, standards
   • PM evaluates if the processess need to be modified or improved
   • PM finds and shares good practices
   • Update project management plan and project documents

3. Control Quality

   • Monitoring and controlling
   • Measures results of the work done
   • Ensures deliverables are correct and meet planned level of quality
   • Evaluate root cause of problems
   • Identify the need of Corrective / preventive actions and defect repair
   • Complete checklists / Update lessons learned / submit change requests
   • Update project management plan and project documents
