1. PARTS

   • NORTHERN HEMISPHERE
     • 61% water and 39% landmass.
     • Tropic of Cancer,Artic Circle and North Pole
     • North America,Central America, Europe, Asia, part of South America and most of Africa
   • SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE
     • 81% water and 19% landmass
     • Tropic of Capricorn, Antartic Circle , South pole
     • Most of South America, Southern Africa, Oceania and Antartica

2. PARALLELS

   • They are imaginary circle that run parallel to the earth´s equator and perpendicular meridians. These circles are smaller when we get closer to the poles
   • Latitude: It is the angular distance of a location north or south of the equator. The greatest latitudes are 90º North and 90º South.

3. MERIDIANS

   • They are imaginary semicircles that run vrtically from the North Pole to de South Pole. They are perpendicular to the parallels. All meridians are the same side
   • Longitude;It is the angular distance of a location east or west of the Greenwich Meridian that is de zero meridian
