    1. Spartacist League, Rosa Luxemburg & Karl Liebknecht were in charge
      1. They hoped that protesters would join but it didn't happen
        1. They tried to take over buildings
          1. Didn't come close because there was weak leadership
        2. Red Rising in the Ruhr
          1. The Communist Party were in charge
            1. They had 50,000 workers supporting them
              1. Tried to take control of raw materials
                1. Didn't come close because it was badly planned
              2. Kapp Putsch
                1. The Freikorps Unit led by Wolfgang Kapp were in charge of the uprising
                  1. They had very little support. Workers went on strike against them which made it impossible for Kapp to rule
                    1. 12,000 Freikorps marched to Berlin and the government was forced to flee
                      1. He was close to taking over Germany, but after 4 days he fled from Berlin and Ebert's government returned
                    2. Munich Putsch
                      1. Adolf Hitler and General Lundendorff were in charge
                        1. Did not have much support because it was badly planned.
                          1. Planned to take over the government and set up General Lundendorff as leader
                            1. Didn't come close because there was not a proper plan & they were caught by the police
