1. passive attack

   • What is it-A passive attack is where a hacker monitors data travelling on a network.
   • prevent it-you can prevent a passive attack by implementing good network encryption

2. Active attack

   • What is it-A active attack is when someone attacks a network with malware or other planned attacks.
   • Prevnt it-You can prevent an active atttack by using firewalls and IPS.

3. DDOS

   • what it is-DDOS is where a hacker tries to stop useres from accessing apart of a network.
   • prevent it-you can change your ip address to save your data.

4. Insider attack

   • what is it-an insider attack is happened on a network or computer systems by a person with authorised system access.
   • prevent it-to prevent an insider attack you can not leak any access to your account etc.

5. Brute force attack

   • This type of attack is a type of attack used to gain infomation by cracking passwords through trail and error.
   • prevent it-you can prevent this attack by having a safe and secure password by stopping penetration testing.
