1. Act 1Scene 7

   • "Should against the murderer bar the door not bear the knife myself."
     • Macbeth is having second thoughts about killing the king because the are cousins. also, Duncan is a good king.
       • Macbeth is conflicting thoughts, which shows that he is not entirely evil.

2. Act1 Scene 4

   • "Stars, hide your fires:let not light see my dark and deep desires"
     • implies that Macbeth is thinking about killing Duncan so he can become king.
       • shows that macbeth has become less loyal to his king

3. Act3 Scene 4

   • "Now I'm Cabbined,Cribbed,Confined bound to saucy doubs and fears"
     • Shows that Macbeth is suffering from anxiety and paranoia.
       • Since killing the king, he's become less confident about his power.
   • "I am in Blood stepped in so far, returning whereas tedious as go o'er"
     • Macbeth realises that he is now going to hell,so he may asswell stay evil

4. Act 4, Scene1

   • "who can impress the forest, bid the tree unfix his earth bound root?"
     • After seeing the witches for a second time, Macbeth has become over confident

5. Act 5 Scene 5

   • "blow wind,come rack atleast we'll die with harness on our back"
     • He's hoping to die in battle .
       • this shows that he wants to be the honourable warior he was in act 1 scene 2.
   • "the fiend that lies like truth"
     • He has realised tht the witches have tricked him
       • Shows that he has become a little smarter.
