1. Malcolm issues orders for battle

   • Switch to the opposite side
     • Structure of the play- short scenes- jumping from the perspective of the two sides of the battle
       • Alternation- short scene- builds up the conflict, urgency and sense of imminent attack
         • Frantic pace- impending doom
   • Instructs troops to throw aside their camouflage of branches
     • 'Leafy screens throw don and show like those you are'

2. War like

   • 'Make all our trumpets speak, give them all breath/ Those clamorous harbingers of blood and death'
     • Rhyming couplet
       • Sense of finality- confidence in battle
