   • Needs to be personal so nobody sees your

2. Anti-virus

   • Anti-virus needs to be upgraded regularly so it knows the latest threats.
   • Anti-virus protects you against malicious software.
   • Anti-virus should be used when downloading new software from the internet.

3. Fire wall

   • A Firewall is a system that prevents unauthorized access to a private network.
   • Firewalls can be implemented as both hardware and software, or a combination of both.
   • The basic purpose of a firewall is to keep the bad stuff out and the good stuff in.

4. Encryption

   • Encryption is the process of encoding a message or information.
   • Encryption comes from the science of cryptography
   • the best known data-encryption program is called RSA.
   • Encryption systems cost money in the form of software and greater computer capacity.
