   • It is when you covert information or data in a code
   • It is also used to stop unauthorised access

3. PASSWORDS

   • A password needs a mixture of special characters and symbols
   • An example of a secure password is 7v+F4X
   • A password is a security question that should only be answered by the owner of the password

4. FIREWALL

   • Protect a network/website from unauthorized users
   • Hardware and software-based
   • The first ever Firewall was invented in 1988 by Digital Equipment Coporation (DEC)
