1. Network Policies(Rules)

   • AUP (Acceptable use policy)
   • AUP states how a network will be used.

2. Protection

   • Firewalls
     • Firewalls can be hardware or software
     • People set up a firewall to block traffic from their network.

3. Access levels

   • A network manager will control the level of access.
   • A user that has no access levels cannot download files or edit them without permission.
   • The more people that have access to sensitive data, the easier it will be to get hacked

4. Integrity

   • This is a person that cannot be trusted
   • It also protects you from unauthorised users.
   • When data is changed it has no integrity.
