Development for DT

1. Knock down fittings

   • I could use this to join the main body of the storage device so that it can be easily portable and can be shifted.

2. Finger joint

   • I could use the finger joint to join the main body of my storage device

3. Housing joint

   • To join the shelves to main holder. I would also use this to assemble the dividers.

4. varnish

   • I could varnish to apply in my storage holder to make sure it is sustainable. This will also make sure that the storage device is resistant to water, heat and is easy to clean

5. square Dowel as draw sliders

   • I couldn't get small enough draw sliders so I decided to use square dowels as I can adjust it according me

6. paint

   • I could use paint to colour my shelves and the the dividers. I would only paint my plywood.

7. pine

   • I could use to make the main box for my storage holder. I have decided to use pine because it is very aesthetically pleasing so I could use varnish to give it my design a natural aesthetic.

8. acrylic

   • I may use clear acrylic for my pencil holder, because it will match with the pine
