Parts of the Universe
  1. Stars
    1. Spend most of their life in the main sequence stage.
      1. When giants die they become white dwarfs, and eventually black dwarfs.
        1. After the main sequence they become giants or supergiants
          1. When supergiants die they make a neutron star or a black hole.
          2. Nebulae
            1. Filled with tons of gas and dust
              1. Where stars are created
                1. They are the only way that stars are formed.
                2. Galaxies
                  1. Biggest things in the universe
                    1. Each one contains hundreds of millions to billions of stars
                      1. they are constantly moving because of the big bang.
                      2. H-R Diagrams
                        1. Measures a stars brightness and heat.
                          1. Heat is on the x-axis and it goes hottest to coldest from left to right.
                            1. Brightness is on the y-axis and is called luminosity as well, it also goes brightest to dullest top to bottom.
