Ram & Rom memory
  1. ROM
    1. ROM: is a type of data storage which saves data that is required for the computer to boot up and run
      1. ROM: stands for Read Only Memory
        1. ROM: is long term memory in the computer
          1. there are three types off ROM: PROM EPROM EEPROM
            1. PROM is programmable ROM it can be erased only once with a high voltage machine
              1. EPROM electrical programmable so can be rewritten using UV radiation
                1. EEPROM is basically flash drives in modern day and do not need these machine to rewrite it
              2. RAM
                1. RAM: stands for Random Access Memory
                  1. RAM: allows data to be read quickly to run applications
                    1. RAM: is short term meorory that deletes every time computer is tuned off
                      1. there are two types of RAM static and dynamic
                        1. static RAM has more storage and is more expensive
                          1. dynamic RAM has less memory and is therefore cheaper
                        2. VOLITILE
                          1. VOLITILE: is memory that is deleted when power is turned off
                            1. NON-VOLITILE: the memory is still stored even when power is turned off
