1) Liquidity Measurement Ratios
- Current Ratio
- The current ratio measures the ability of a company to cover its short-term liabilities with its current assets.
- Quick Ratio
- (Cash equivalents + marketable securities + accounts receivables) /current liabilities
- The quick ratio or acid test ratio is a liquidity ratio that measures the ability of a company to pay its current liabilities when they come due with only quick assets. Quick assets are current assets that can be converted to cash within 90 days or in the short-term. A rule of thumb is that a quick ratio greater than 1.0 means that a company is sufficiently able to meet its short-term obligations.
