    1. Most modern PCs use a graphical user interface (GUI)
      1. Small meaningful pictures called icons represent instructions that are available to the user and each one is selected by the mouse pointer
        1. Provide help if users have difficulty
          1. The purpose of a command button is often described and explained if the cursor is hovered over it
            1. A help menu provided a searchable database that explains how to perform various tasks

                            2. Disadvantages
                              1. It is large and complex
