1 Economic Sustainability- Cheap to run and maintain. Buses are locally made.
2 Economic Sustainability- Creates jobs for locals on buses and in Volvo factories.
3 Social Sustainability- Allows even the very poor to get to work in the city centre (rubbish exchange programme)
4 Environmental Sustainability- prevents 30 million car journeys a day so reduces air pollution
5 Environmental Sustainability-Buses run on bio-fuel so there are less CO2 emissions and global warming
6 Economic Sustainability- Costs 500 times less than the metro system
