1. Fishing

   • Fishes with a man who can't hear so they don't talk
   • One night when he was fishing he got interrupted by a pull on the line and he caught a horned pout
     • Made him feel connected with nature

2. Walden Pond

   • Goes into description about the humble, yet beautiful, scenic views at Walden Pond
   • He says the colors in the pond are blue and green; compares this to sky and earth
   • Admires the beautiful solitude the pond is in
   • Compares Walden Pond to the Garden of Eden
   • Disappointed to know that the pond was named after a person

3. Forest Mirror

   • Walden Pond is an indestructible mirror which reflects the purity it contains out to the people around it
