  1. Definitions/Key Terms
    1. Applicant:
      1. The name given to the person applying for the job.
      2. Internal recruitment:
        1. Recuiting someone who already works for the business to do a different job.
        2. External recruitment:
          1. Recruiting from the outside the business.
          2. Temporary:
            1. For a limited amount of time specified-for example, a month or a year.
            2. Permanent:
              1. Until that person decides to leave or the job ceases to exist.
            3. Reasons to recruitment:
              1. Employee leaving
                1. Extra work

                    1. Maternity cover
                      1. sickness
                        1. High turnover
