1. Parallelograms

   • Properties:opposite sides are parallel and congruent. Consecutive angles are supplementary. Diagonals bisect each other. Opposite angles are congruent.
   • Rhombus
     • Properties: A quadrilateral with four congruent sides. Consecutive sides are congruent. The diagonals bisect the opposite angle. When diagonals meet they create a right angle
   • Rectangle
     • Properties: A quadrilateral with four right angles. All four angles are right angles. Diagonals are congruent.
     • Square
       • Properties: Has four right angles and all sides are congruent. Has all properties of square and rectangle.

2. Trapezoid: A quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides.

   • Properties: The top and bottom sides of the trapezoid are parallel, bases. The other sides are the trapezoid's legs. one pair of parallel sides.
   • Isosceles trapezoid: A trapezoid where the two legs and bases are congruent
     • Properties: The base angles are congruent. The diagonals are congruent. Its opposite angles are supplementary.

3. Kite: A quadrilateral with two distinct pairs of adjacent sides that are congruent.

   • Properties:The diagonals meet at a right angle. Exactly one pair of opposite angles that are congruent.
