1. s3 is a Universal Namespac e

2. Data Consistency

   • Read after Write
     • for PUTS of new Objects Basically if you upload a file to s3 you are ABLE to read straight away after writing to it
   • Eventual Consistency
     • for overwrite PUTS and Deletes (cant take time to propagate) If you update an existing file or delete a file and read it immediately, you may get an older version or may not. Basically changes to objects can take a little bit of time to propagate.
