What makes a good portrait

1. Compostition

   • where you place objects in an image
   • Perspective

2. Lighting

   • where the light hits the person and what angle it is from
   • Some might be naturally dark ( tonal drawing ) it is harder to show light but you would use a rubber or other equipment

3. Backgrounds

   • Not having a background that is bigger or bolder than the portrait it's self
   • For example a tonal drawing you wouldn't have a multi-couloured spotty background

4. Features

   • Features of the face in the correct place
   • Also you need to have expressions and emotions
