1. Dancer

   • The role of a dancer is to express their own stories and ideas through dance performances. Dancers most of the time like to perform with a group and have the ability to dance to different to different music such as modern, ballet, or musical theater
   • The skills you need to be a dancer are to be flexible, creative, motivation and discipline, fit and healthy, being able to listen to others ideas, confidence and communication. You need all of these skills for any kind of dances and performances.
   • The responsibilities of a dancer are sometimes to study and create choreography. Another one is to get ready for performances by rehearsing and exercising for example stretching. The next responsiblite that you need to be a dancer is to study and create choregraphy

2. Choreographer

   • The role of a choreographer is to create and make a dance and to teach the younger or older kids about different technics and styles in dance. Another role that a choreographer needs to have is to be able to create and plan dance routines for performance, this is normally towards music or to show an idea of or about a dance. Also will create dance routines to entertain at live shows, events or for TV and films.
   • The responsibilities that a choreographer will need are: To study and create choreography, Create dance routines that work with the music and lyrics of a production or performance. Read through a script and interprets each song, creating dance sequences to match the song.
   • A skill that a choreographer needs is to know dance techniques, a choreographer must have a a good knowledge of dance steps, styles and routines. Another skill is which a choreographer needs is creativity, this is because they need to know how to be creative and they need to be able to teach their dancers a dance which involves creativity. My finally example of a skill that a choreographer needs is to be able to award and discipline the dancers

3. Costume Designer

   • The skills that a costume designer needs are to be able to have good leadership ability, excellent design skills, good eye for detail, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
   • The responsibilities of a costume designer is to study the script, discussing ideas with the director, and production, make-up, lighting and set designers. The reason why you need these responsibilities to be a costume designer is because you need to make sure you get the costumes and e.ct correct.
   • The role of a costume designer is too get together outfits a film, stage production or a television show.

4. Lightning Designer

   • The responsibilities that a lightning designer needs are to work with the creative team to come up with ideas. Another responsibilie that you need for being a lightning designer is to be aware of health and safety aspects.
   • The role of a lightning Designer is to create the lighting based around each section of the dance depending the mood or scene of the dance. The designer must also furnish all associated paperwork for the design including hook-ups and schedules
   • The skills that a lightning designer needs are to be able to work with teamwork and patience, also to be able to communicate good with the other roles.
