3. Applications: Provide many different text so that children can see the differences of complex language.

2. Characteristics: human language rest on the building blocks of expression, based on verbs, nouns and adjectives.
3. Applications: do lessons that teach sentence structure

2. Characteristics: before you can be successful in your second language, you must reach the threshold level of ability in your first language
3. Applications: bring in different culturesinto the classroom and encourage parent involement
