1. AC POWER

   • Backup power
     • Back up Generators BUG)
       • One in each ENG accessory drive
         • Out put is regulated to 400 Hz by a converter
       • Recerive in put from both backup generators at all times ENG are Running
     • Converter receives input from both back generators at al times ENG are running Can select and process inputs from only one BUG or the other, not both simutaneously
     • Permanent Magnet Generators Two contained in each BUG Supply AC power to flight control Power Supply Assemblies (PSA) PASs convert power from AC to DC fro flight control computer use Output is dedicated to flight controls can't be diverted elsewhere
   • ELMS Provides load management and protection
     • L & R ENG IDG
     • APU GEN
       • Electrically identical to IDG generators
       • 4 kinds of Priority
     • External power Primary and Secendary
     • Bus Tie breaker Priority Respective side APU Opposite Side

2. DC POWER

   • Transformer Rectifirer Units
     • L TRU
       • L Main DC Bus L Flt Ctrl Bus R main DC Bus
     • C2 TRU
       • First Officer's Flt Instrument Bus CA Flight Instrument Bus
     • R TRU
       • R Main DC bUS R FLT Ctrl Bus R Main DC Bus
     • C1 TRU
       • Captains's Flight Instrument Bus Battery Bus Hot Battery Bus Standby Inverter

3. Standby Power Supplies AC AND DC POWER TO SELECTIED KEY ITEMS

   • Main Battery Can power standby system for a minimwm for 10 minuts
     • Hot Battery Bus
       • Powered by R main DC bus (through the Ground Service Bus )
       • When powerd, the battery charger powers Hot battery bus L and R flight control bussed
     • L C Flight Control Busees
     • Battery Bus
     • Captains flight Instrument Bus
   • Standby inverter
     • AC Standby Bus
   • RAT Generator and associated generator control unit
   • C1 TRU
     • Captains's flight Instrument Bus
     • Battery Bus
