1 Igneous
1.1 Basalt and Granite are both forms of igneous rock
1.1.1 They are formed when molten magma from the earths inner crust cools! It forms an Intrusive Rock!
2 Metamorphic Rock
2.1 Are rocks which have been put under massive amounts of pressure and are normally very hard wearing! Ex: Marble and Slate
3 Sedimentary!
3.1 are formed from sediments at the bottom of a lake or sea, which compress over millions of years. Examples are sandstone, limestone and clay.
