America Through the Years

1. 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s

   • Students will research a popular song of that time and research its history and connect it with the decade.
   • Students will researh this dedcade find out the presidents and other important histroicl events

2. Famous Musicians

   • Students will research different famous musicians during different times, find out their most famous work and their impact on histroy

3. 2010s

   • Students will look at their own decade discuss historical events thus far and how music has changed and its relation to our histroy.

4. Presentations

   • Students will pick a decade and present on its historyy, culture, music and impact on today

5. Musicals

   • Students will research musicals and the topics they covered and how they relate ton what is going on at the time
