                                  1. In most cases the sub. & verb are separated.
                                    1. Sometimes the sub & verb are together.
                                      1. Pronoun-noun: when you see an pro noun make sure it agrees with the noun.
                                        1. Remember someone, everyone, or everybody needs a sing. pronoun.
                                          1. Sentence structure: runons/fragments, misplaced modifiers, and parallelism.
                                            1. Watch for long sentences.
                                              1. Redundancy: Shortest, when in doubt take it out,
                                            2. Parallelism: different forms are used to express = ideas.
                                              1. Make sure the modifier is close to the word it's changing.
                                                1. Transitions b/w paragraphs.
                                                  1. Add evidence
                                                  2. Tone questions
                                                    1. Paragraph org. & sentence org.
                                    2. Ask yourself does it belong here, does this sound right, and does it make sense?
                                      1. When in doubt, take it out.
                                        1. Commas: use commas for lists, or small pauses.
                                          1. Use commas to separate nonessential words, phrases, or clauses.
                                            1. Use a comma to separate FANBOY cunjunctions
