CLONING
  1. Plants
    1. cuttings
      1. Cutting is taken of a plant and planted with hormones(not essential) and left to grow plant that grows will be genetically identical of plant cutting was taken from
      2. Tissue Culture
        1. Cells taken from plant and grown in a growth medium with hormones(essential) to grow into plants which are clones of the parent plant.
      3. Animal cloning
        1. Embryo transplants
          1. Egg cell taken from female and sperm cell from male the egg cell is then artificially fertilised the embryo which develops then split many times which forms clones, before any of the cells become specialised the group of cloned embryos then placed into surrogate mothers and genetically identical offspring produced of original parents also all the offspring are genetically identical to each other.
        2. Adult cell cloning
          1. Egg cell taken from mother and genetic material(nucleus) removed a full set of chromosomes from adult body cell then taken and placed into 'empty' egg cell the cell then stimulated using electric shock to make it divide just like a normal embryo and then implanted into surrogate mother offspring will be genetically identical to animal the adult cell was taken from.
