      1. May occur through hiring process - men hired over women with equal skills
        Work Foundation - 1 in 100 women worked in skilled trades (2011) compared to 1 in 5 men
        E.g. of Gendered Division - Teaching Industry
        Despite less men in teaching, they occupy higher status roles
        Reinforced by gendered stereotypes for child care - leads to men prioritising careers early
