Your research topic (chapter 2)
1. Generating ideas through rational and creative methods
  1. Ensure symmetry of potential outcomes: each result has equal value, no matter what you find out. (p23)
    1. other important elements: it is interesting, feasible within time, budget and abilities, data is accessible, results will be current and useful after project completion.
  2. Pick 3 projects you like and 3 you dislike. Ask about each: 1) what appeals to you / do you dislike about it? 2) What is good/bad about it? 3) Why is it good/bad?

1. Business research: sometimes too practical. Research should close the gap between theory and practice.
