Critical Path Analysis
- Shows the relationship between the different parts of project
- Process of identifying how the tasks within a project fit together so all tasks occur in a logical order
- Defines the path that should be taken to ensure the project is successful and completed on time
- Enables resources to be allocated provisionally
- Enables slack, lead and lag time to be built in to cover any slippage in the project.
- Provides a firm idea of when tasks and the project should be completed.
