   • Prevention:
     • Install a Firewall
       • A firewall is software in which permits or blocks access to your computer based rules that the user has set. It stops hackers from installing malicious software.

2. Viruses

   • These programs are desinged are designed to damage the data on your computer or stop the programs which are installed from stopping working. Some viruses monitor keystrokes and sends details of passwrods and confidential information to hackers.
     • Prevention
       • Install a firewall. Then you need to install an anti virus software and keep it up to date. You MUST download from only trusted websites. NEVER open emails from stangers or attachments. The anit virus software must also be used to scan any CDs and memory sticks before you read them as well as no using pirate software or file sharing websites
