    1. where do you find rain forest?
      1. Near Equator. And Between the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn
        1. Countries like: -south asia -brazil -Africa -India
        2. What animals live there?
          1. -Orangutan -Jagguar -Snake -Monkeys -elephant -Chimpazee -croc -frog
          2. What vegetation?
            1. -Jack friut -Ferm -mango
            2. Layers of leaves protects from harsh suroundings elements
              1. As there are layers of leaves, they blocks sunlight, so trees are tall to try to get sunlight
                1. It rains often so the plants grow easily
                  1. Many animals have adapted to protect themselves
                    1. 2000 ml rainfall a year
                      1. But 1/4 of the rain goes to the trees

                          1. frogs are comouflaged and the other colourful ones have their color to show they are toxic. It releases poison when danger
                            1. They are mostly colourful but some are normal colour. Colourful ones are very toxic

                              1. The red line shows the temperature and the blue one shows the humidity

                                  1. Amazon Tribes

                                      1. -They eat Nambu birds, cocoa fruits and others -LIve in long houses -Whenever peiple dies, families house will get burnt and rebuilt -Europian diseases almost wiped out the whole tribe -They have some rituals - Many dangerous animals around them so have to be careful
                                      2. Marubo
                                        1. -Live in south of Brazil -First tribe to ctant with ousiders -They were recieved guns -Scared of enemy tribes and unpleasant spirits -Greet by dancing or chant to cure them -Live near javari rivers -They have a chemney like houses.
                                      3. Achuar Tribe
                                        1. Location: Brazil LIfe style: they hunt monkeys and other animals. They have a wooden house with thatched roof Ayahusca: It's the powerful plant that makes you vomit when u eat. they think there will be a bad spirit going away and good spirit coming in. Danger: Oil company breaking environment around them.

                                          1. Forest floor the ground of the rainforest. very dark.(ants ,ferns etc)
                                          2. Understory
                                            1. Understory: section underneath the leaves of the trees(leopard, jagguar etc)

                                              1. Canopy layer: top sections of the shorter trees(snakes, tree frogs etc
                                              2. Emergent Layer
                                                1. Emergent layer: It's the top section of the tall trees (eagles, monkeys etc)
                                              3. Dangers
                                                1. How are they destroyed
                                                  1. Slash and burn
                                                    1. Tree cutting
                                                      1. Building dams
                                                        1. Spaces for farms
                                                        2. What happens?
