Lullaby = gentle rhythmic songs passed from parents to baby & sung to babies
Poems = Use rhyme & rhythm to create effect. Sometimes written in shapes
Key Fable features: 1) story provides explanation for natural phenomenon 2)Characters = animals or fantasy act in human way 3) One character = often good/ brave 4) One = often silly/ boastful 5) Plot = Often funny or impossible
Analyse a newspaper article: 1) Who is it about? 2) What happened? 3) Where did it take place? 4) Wen did it happen 5) Why did it happen? 6) How does the story make you feel?
