Successful areas of this design are that there is plenty of opportunities for colour. It can be both scaled up and down and the words shield or the strap line can be added in numerous places. The heart represent community and people and the tablets and vitamins inside represent everyday well-being of the people and the medical aspect of the logo. The design is small and can be put onto all the desired products.

This design has the word shield incorporated into it and this is what sets it out from the rest. There is room for colour and this design both represents community and health care. It is modern and simple and in my eyes meets the brief. The Shield can be either bold or not but either way because I've positioned it on top of the pulse line it stands out.

With this design i consider it to be very simple however it portrays care and community. Colour can be added however it could work as a black and white design also if i were to even use the positive and negative space well i could make it have a hidden meaning. It can be scaled up and down and with it being so compact i think it will look good on any type of product. Once again the strap line or the word 'shield' can be added.

This design symbolises care due to the hands surrounding the base of the shield. The shield means that the actual words 'shield' wouldn't need to be added. The shield also represents the qualities of the group and their aims of protection and resilience. The heart reinforces community and the pulse rate going through the heart shows a medical aspect also. This design can be scaled up and down and the strap line could be added either above or beneath if desired. Colour can also be added.

Lastly my final design is simple yet precise. The heart is portrayed as the world which means medical colours, blue and green, can be added and it portrays community. The pulse line orbiting the heart reinforces the fact that 'shield' will always be around helping and caring for people in need. This design can be scaled up and down just like my others and will also look excellent on a website and letter heads. It is modern and can also be supported by the strap line or word 'shield'.
